Dr. EM Mahlase is the practicing physician, medical director and founder of the clinic.
He is a highly experienced medical doctor trained in South Africa, with over 32 years of clinical practice, including 22 years serving patients in Canada, primarily in Calgary. He brings extensive expertise in family medicine, with a particular strength in the assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions across diverse patient populations.
He is proficient in virtual medical consultations and actively collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. Dr. Mahlase is committed to delivering timely, compassionate, and evidence-based medical care tailored to the needs of each patient.
Ms. Jocelyn David
Clinic Operations Manager
Jocelyn David is the Founder and Clinic Operations Manager of the clinic, bringing over a decade of experience in healthcare operations, clinical services, and laboratory medicine. With a strong background as a Medical Laboratory Assistant and Certified Phlebotomy Technician, with extensive hands-on expertise in pediatric, geriatric and neonatal phlebotomy, specimen collection, and laboratory operations across hospital, urgent care, and patient service centre environments. She combines hands-on clinical knowledge with strategic operational leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
Throughout her career, Jocelyn has successfully led multidisciplinary healthcare teams, overseen clinic operations and payroll, implemented policies and procedures, and supported physicians in delivering high-quality medical services. She is highly proficient in multiple EMR systems and is recognized for her attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and compassionate leadership. Passionate about mentorship and continuous improvement, Jocelyn is dedicated to building healthcare environments that prioritize patient comfort, staff development, and operational integrity.
Mr. Jordan Bretiller
Founder and Accountant
Jordan Bretiller is the founder and accounting executive with over a decade of experience delivering financial leadership, reporting integrity, and strategic insight across real estate, property management, and senior living portfolios. He specializes in full-cycle accounting, financial controls, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, CAM recoveries, and regulatory compliance within highly regulated environments.
In addition to financial leadership, Jordan brings strong systems expertise, serving as a systems administrator with hands-on experience in AlayaCare and Accuro EMR, supporting compliant financial and operational workflows in senior living and healthcare-adjacent settings. He is highly proficient in other accounting software Yardi Voyager 7S and other enterprise accounting platforms, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
Jordan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Management in Accounting and completing Fundamentals of Real Estate, reinforcing his commitment to continuous professional development and modern financial leadership.
