1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Calgary Care Medical Clinic (“Calgary Care”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our:

Patient portals, telehealth platforms, and virtual care services
Communications, booking systems, and related services
(collectively, the “Services”)
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
These Terms are intended to comply with applicable Canadian laws, including PIPEDA, Alberta’s Health Information Act (HIA), and College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) standards.
2. ELIGIBILITY & AGE REQUIREMENTS
The Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.
Minors may access Services only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, where permitted by law. We do not knowingly provide services to minors without appropriate consent.
3. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER & SCOPE OF SERVICES
No Emergency Services
The Services are not intended for medical emergencies.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
Virtual Care Limitations
Telehealth and virtual care services:
Are provided only when clinically appropriate
Do not replace in-person care when physical examination is required
Are delivered at the professional discretion of licensed healthcare providers
Healthcare providers may decline, discontinue, or refer care as required by clinical judgment, CPSA standards, or legal obligations.
4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
By using the Services, you agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and current information
Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
Use the Services only for lawful and personal healthcare purposes
Not misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the Services
Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
5. PRIVACY & HEALTH INFORMATION
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal and health information.
Calgary Care Medical Clinic acts as a Custodian of health information under Alberta’s Health Information Act (HIA).
